Kacures, Douglas Michael Born May 20, 1931 in Saint Cloud, MN to James Kacures - direct from Greece and Mary Ann (Fashl) Kacures. Douglas passed on May 21, 2015 in his home. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; brother, James (Corky) Kacures; many family and friends. Survived by his children, Joan & Joseph; grandchildren, Michele Johnson (Randy), Brenda (Jason) Hostetler, Eric & Ryan Johnson; great-grandchildren, Madalynn (9yrs) & Garrett (7yrs) and his brother Edward Kacures. Mass of Christian Burial at THE CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY (1900 - 111th Ave. NW) Wednesday May 27th at 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior. Burial following Mass at Epiphany Cemetery. Douglas served as a drill sergeant in the US Army 1951. He also was a member of the International Union of Electrical & Machine Workers employed at Paper-Calmenson local 1042. Doug's greatest joy's in life were his children-grand and great - his dog - beer and a daily cigar! One of his biggest talents was his excellent (loud) singing voice.
