Priebe, Donald J. age 91, of Richfield, passed away from heart disease on May 20, 2015. Don was a purchasing agent with Gould, Inc, and a former mayor of Richfield from 1980-1981. He also served two terms on Richfield's City Council and worked to reduce airport noise for the city. He loved politics, history, gardening, family and friends. A witty and loving man, he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beverly; sons, Donald (Karen) and Robert (Laurie); grandchildren, Daniel, Alison (Umut) Ozturk and Alex Cucci-Luck; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Edward, mother, Mayme and brother, Edward Priebe. Funeral service Wednesday, (May27), at 10:00 AM at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 7625 Chicago Ave. S., Richfield. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Ft Snelling.
