Nelson, Roy of Golden Valley, MN, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2015 at the age of 96. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Mary Jane; daughter, Janice and parents, Hjalmar & Anna. Survived by children, James (Nancy) and Joyce Howard; grandchildren, Christopher (Molly), Angela, Matthew and Dylan (Maile); great-grandchildren, Easton and Emma. He was born in Duluth, MN and graduated from Denfeld High School. He spent his entire career at the Peavey Company. He loved to watch baseball, spend time with his family, square dance, and travel to Sweden. Funeral service Tuesday, May 26, 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to service at Brookdale Covenant Church, 5139 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center. Private interment.
