Scheffler, Alton N., 'Al' age 91, of Lakeville passed away peacefully on May 4, 2015. Al was the owner and operator of Scheffler's Standard Oil Station in Lakeville since 1950 and was a life member and former commander of the Lakeville VFW Post 210. He is preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings. Al is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lucille; children, Darlene (Robert) Thomas, Thomas (Valerie), Terrance (Mary), Timothy (Yvonne), and Carrie Scheffler; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Joseph (Evelyn), Leo (Mary), Ralph (Patricia), Sr. Mary Lucy Scheffler, and Matthew (Charlene) Scheffler; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville, with a visitation on Wednesday (5/6) from 4-8 PM at the White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr., Lakeville also 1 hr. prior to Mass at Church.
