Kuensting, William "Red" age 90 of Minneapolis born May 2nd, 1925 passed away May 4th, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife Miriam, daughter Carol, and special friend Mary Alice. Survived by brother Gary (Mavis); sons Timothy and Jeffery (Valerie); many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Red grew up in Camden, Minneapolis and spent most of his life in Northeast. He was a Veteran of the Merchant Marines during World War II and was a long time employee of Western Electric. Red had a lively spirit with many interests. He led a commendable bowling career with an average score of 200+ per game for over sixty years, highlighted with several championships. He was an avid golfer, had a love for fishing, and enjoyed fixing and repairing most anything. He loved dancing, being social, and spending time with his many great friends. Funeral services will be held Friday 10 am at Washburn-McReavy Chapel, 2901 Johnson St. NE with visitation Thursday 5-7 pm and 1 hour before service Friday.
