Williamson, John Carson age 75, from Burnsville, MN, peace-fully passed Monday April 20. He was preceded in death by parents Warren and Caroline and his son Daryl. John is survived by children John, DeAnna, Sharon, Colleen, Dale, Shane and Ashleigh; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; life partner Dee Doerr; and many lifetime friends. As a child John grew up in Philadelphia and Ocean City, NJ. John moved to Minneapolis from Philadelphia in 1969 and worked for several companies as an IT director, over a 40 year career, including serving as president of the Small Business Computer Association. He served faithfully, as a deacon, in Westminster Presbyterian Church, enjoying many service opportunities that suited his gre-garious personality. He enjoyed hosting Rock 'N' Roll parties as a DJ playing 50's and 60's music, reading, listening to and attending music performances, Theater, and Broadway performances. John was an avid fan of horse and dog racing, enjoying Canterbury Downs since opening in 1985. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please send donations to Feed My Starving Children or donors choice. Memorial service will be held May 8 at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1200 S. Marquette Ave.
