Witschen, Shirley age 79, of Monticello, passed away at The Legacy of St. Michael on Wed., April 15, 2015. Shirley was born on January 3, 1936 in Black River Falls, WI to Theodore and Amelia (Krametbauer) Stenulson. She was united in marriage to Frank Witschen on October 17, 1959. She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, garage sales, classical music, skiing and fishing. She loved spending time at the cabin. She was very proud of her family, especially her sons and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Frank; four sons Michael (Denise) of Houston, TX, James of Monticello, Alan (Bonnie) of Monticello, Vern (Renae) of Monticello; 5 grandchildren Jaydan, Demi, Matthew, Brian, Ayla; great grandchildren Ellisen and Macie; sisters Joyce Berg of Omaha, NE, and Sonya (William) Overmyer of Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Thomas. Visitation will be Fri., May 1, 2015 from 10:30 am to 11 am at St. Henry Catholic Church, 1001 East 7th Street, Monticello.
