Schmid, Glenard E. age 89, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully at home April 19, 2015. Glenard was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII. He was a driver for Midwest Motor Express for 33 years. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Irma; son, Dennis (Ruby); daughter, Lynette (Arnold) Jensen; 7 grandchildren, Shannon, Jamie, Travis, Tiffany, Brent, Derek, and Kari; 7 great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Britney, Owen, Elise, Ava, Kai, and Piper; brothers, Howard (Leona) and Alvin and sister, Linda Koepke. Preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Alice (Meyer) Schmid; sister, Leona (Schmid) Lucht; brothers-in-law, Roland Lucht and Larry Koepke; sister-in-law, Ilene (Wolff) Schmid.
