Banks, Millie Jean age 94, of Edina, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 after a brief illness. Survived by her son, Mark (Gretchen) Banks and grandson, Matthew Banks. Preceded in death by her husband, Merle and brothers, Clinton and William Ritchie. Millie was born in Duluth, MN, and graduated from Denfeld High School. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was also a "2nd mother" to countless others. She was a fan of classic movies, an interest that she shared with her grandson. She is now reunited with Merle, the love of her life and heaven has a new angel. Private services have been held.
