Alderman, Calvin passed away on April 17, 2015 in New Hope, MN, at the age of 90 years old. Calvin was born on August 26, 1924 in Cairo, NE, to Frank and Rose Alderman. He served during World War II in the 82nd Airborne and made a parachute jump into France on D-Day. Preceded in death by his parents; 8 brothers and sisters; and son, Robert Alderman. He is survived by wife Dorothy; daughters, Sandra Rae McFarland, Lexington, NE and Sandra Lea Doberstein (Edward), Brooklyn Park, MN; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Per his wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling Cemetery, Mpls, MN.
