Johnson, Edna Mae 88, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2015 at Johanna Shores Presbyterian Homes in Arden Hills, MN. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Duane August and her son William Dennis. She is survived by her children Cary (Mary), Jan (Chip Roe) and Peggy Klug (Chris), her grandchildren Molly and Betsy Johnson, Mandi (Hank Anderson), Travis and Adam Rund, Tracy and Chan Klug, and great-grand daughter Aster Anderson. Edna was known for her wonderful smile, and her unconditional love and respect for all who were blessed to share in her graceful presence. Edna was a life-long member of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, serving as elder, deacon, and choir member. She spent her working life as a physical therapist, highly esteemed for her professionalism, gentle touch and spirit. A memorial service will be held at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, Friday, May 8, 6:00 pm, with a reception previous at 4:30 pm. Memorials can be made to Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church or Optage Hospice of Minnesota.
