McClaren, Robin A. age 81, of Minneapolis passed away on April 15, 2015. Preceded in death by father, Robin McClaren Sr. of Joplin, MO; parents, Clarence and Jean Owens (nee Abernathy), and twin sister, Carole Knoll (nee McClaren). He is survived by children, Stephen (Carolyn) McClaren, Elizabeth McClaren, Andrew McClaren, and Melissa (Laurel) McClaren; grandchildren, Ashley, Katie, Amanda, Paul, Emma, Lexi, Austin, Joshua, Jacob, Jessica, and Jami; niece Jennifer (Steven) Norlin-Weaver; nephews, Jeffrey, Michael, and David (Susan) Knoll; grand-nieces and nephews, Phillip, Meagan, Linda, Jillian, Abby, Lindsey, Jackson, Jessica, Hannah, Lilli, Hayley, and Summer. Robin attended Minneapolis West High School and graduated from Edina High School in 1952. He attended U of MN School of Business and worked as a banker at Norwest Bank and Wells Fargo from 1956-1994. He is a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served on the U.S.S. Bennington from 1954-1956. Robin was well known by family, friends, neighbors, and acquain-tances as an extremely kind, gentle and loving person. He readily demonstrated an obvious affection for all of his famly, especially the many children in his life. Robin will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorials are preferred to Mount Olivet Cathedral of The Pines Camp. A visitation will be held at Washburn-McReavy Edina, W. 50th St & Hwy 100, Monday, April 20 from 4-7 pm.
