Hubbard, Charles Jay age 90 of Garrison, formerly of Bloomington. Born on August 15, 1924 in Minneapolis and died on April 7, 2015 at his daughter's home in Rochester. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela, Proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII and was honorably discharged as a master sergeant He began working for Standard Machine Co in south Minneapolis and eventually rose to be President and part owner. He loved spending time at Big Pine Lake near Garrison, especially with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved woodcarving, including making several full sized totem poles and spending his winters in Fountain Hills, AZ. Survived by two sons, Charles (Pam) of Sacramento, CA and Tom (Lisa) of Chippewa Falls, WI and a daughter, Debbie (John) of Rochester, MN. 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, April 20th at 11:00 am at the Catholic Church of the Assumption, 305 E. 77th St. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass. A luncheon will follow.
