Brummer, Mark A. Age 53 of St. Louis Park, passed away at his home on March 26, 2015 after a short 10-week battle with lung cancer. Mark was born on April 22, 1961 to Ardell and Marion Brummer. He is survived by his parents, daughter Chelsa Dominguez (Jason), son Matt Brummer (Sara Opdahl), sister Debra Mahoney (Tom), brother Tim Brummer (Karen), grandchildren Renee and Rocco Dominguez, godmother Lupe Brummer and special uncle and buddy Leon Stumpf; nephews Thomas and Joseph Mahoney, Coleman Brummer and niece Ella Brummer, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by former wife Kathy Swenson Brummer, grandparents Joseph and Marie Brummer, Vincent and Elizabeth Stumpf and godfather Alfred Brummer. A Special Thank You to the HCMC ICU many doctors and nurses for the great quality of care he received with special thanks to Dr. Matt Prekker, Dr. Michele Leclaire, and Dr. Jeffrey Rubins for their incredible medical expertise and caring bedside manner as they guided him through this journey. Extraordinary thanks to the Hospice of the Twin Cities team Nina, Laurie, and Jennifer. They made his last weeks at home very comforting for him.
