Harnden, Gerald J. Age 66, passed away March 26, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a six-year courageous battle with non- Hodgkin's lymphoma. Gerald was a wonderful husband, father, grand-father and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Gerald was a police officer with the St. Paul Police Department from 1969 until retiring in 1998. Preceded in death by parents Helen and Ray Harnden and brother Robert. Survived by wife, Sharon; daughters, Laura (Peder and Paige Duffell), Sarah (Matthew) Lindberg and Molly (Jonathan) Herseth; Grandson, Jacob Lindberg; Brothers, Rich and Jack (Peggy); as well as many other relatives and friends. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Saturday April 11, 2015 at 10 AM, visitation is 1 hour prior to service, at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 3700 160th St E, Rosemount (Coates), MN 55068.
