Charles Boyd Woehrle

Woehrle, Charles Boyd Age 98, of St. Paul, MN. Born in Nashua, Iowa on September 28, 1916, died on March 25, 2015 at the Episcopal Church Home. He attended the University of Minnesota. Charles served in the Army Air Corps as a bombardier during WWII, including two years as a POW after his plane was shot down. Subsequently, he founded Empire Photosound, producing films and TV ads, and ended his career at Pako Corporation. He was a longtime trustee of the Union Gospel Mission. He will be remembered for his steadfast Christian faith, his love and devotion to friends and family, his grace and kindness, and ability to tell a great story. He was preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth. He is survived by daughter, Betsy Kelly (David) of St. Paul; grandson, Charlie (Elisabeth) and great-grandson George of Alexandria VA, and grandson George (Jennifer) of Minneapolis. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:30am at Coventry Chapel, Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, 1840 W. University Avenue, St. Paul.
