Connolly, Margaret Jean (Steinman) age 64, passed away March 26 at her home in Ramsey. Margaret is survived by her husband, Jim; sons, Luke (Megan) and Mark; mother, Mary Elizabeth Steinman; brothers, William and Richard (Candy). Preceded in death by father, Earl. A graduate of Clarkfield High School, Margaret married Jim in 1971. She was a lifelong advocate for children; she and Jim served as foster parents, and Margaret worked in numerous schools through the company she co-founded, Mindworks Unlimited, which brought historical and diversity programs to elementary students. She won the National Geographic Award for Excellence in education. Margaret loved the environment, especially birds, and published a book through the Audubon Society. A longtime resident of Ramsey, she served on the city council and was active in politics. Her generosity of spirit endeared her to those who knew her, and she will be greatly missed. Her family would like to thank the staff members of Abbott Northwest, MN Oncology, and Allina Hospice for their care. A private service will be held at a later date.
