Anderson, Warren age 87 of Buffalo, MN, passed away on March 24, 2015 at St. Francis Regional Hospital in Shak-opee, MN. Memorial service on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 11 AM at Buffalo United Methodist Church, Buffalo, MN with a visitation from 9-11 AM also at the church. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Creek, MN. Warren was born to J. Edward and Clara (Gustafson) Anderson on July 21, 1927 in Marysville Township. Warren graduated from Buffalo High School and attended St. Cloud Teachers College until he enlisted in the US Navy in 1944. He served in both WWII and the Korean War. On May 1, 1953, he was married to Ione Posthumus in Silver Creek, MN. They were blessed with three children. He was employed for over 25 years at MTS Systems in Eden Prairie. He also worked at the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted School District. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with his family. Warren is survived by his children, David (Robin) Anderson of Buffalo, MN and Cathy (Lance) Breyer of Elko, MN; nephew, Merlin (Ruth) Swanson of Buffalo; sisters-in-law, Betty Johnson of Monticello, MN, Donna (James) Bergquist of Plymouth, MN, Ruthann Dixon of Waxahachie, TX & Karen (Richard) Larson of New Brighton, MN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ione; son, Douglas Anderson; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Marvin Swanson; sister, Ruth (infant); and brothers-in-law, Myron Johnson and Max Dixon.
