Howells, Elizabeth "Betty Ann" age 85 of Mound passed peacefully at home on March 1st.She graduated from Minneapolis Washburn High School and attended Gustavus Adolphus College. She was an administrative assistant for Hopkins and Mound school districts. Betty Ann is preceded in death by husband, Robert; brother, Jim Gedney; and son-in-law, Kenny Sobczak. She is survived by her 5 children, Robert (Jean), Stephen (Karen), Richard, Nancy Sobczak, and Tom; grandchildren, Tyler, Brett, Erica, Jessica, Reid, Preston, Dylan, and Rob; and many other loving family and friends. Betty Ann was an avid gardener and family was always her passion. She was a big fan of family sporting events and activities. A memorial service will be held March 17 at 11am at St. John's Lutheran with a gathering of family and friends 1 hour prior.
