Agee, Howard Lee 2/9/25 - 2/28/15 Survived by Lorraine, the love of his life of 70 years. Loving father of grateful children: Marcia, John (Cathy), Mary Jo (Peter Clasen), James, and Janet (Joe Dougherty). Adored grandfather of 8 grandchildren & 9 greats. Born in Independence, KS and served in the Navy in WWII, Graduated with distinction U of M 1949. 41 years with Prudential Ins. where he received many designations in the industry and company awards and helped others to succeed. He established and was president of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill in MN which helps the mentally ill thru legislation and outreach. Lifetime volunteer for many organizations including Knights of Columbus, the former Archbishop Murray H S, Christian Brothers, and St Rose of Lima. He received the MSP magazine volunteer of the year award and the U of M Distinguished Alumni Award. Golfer, winemaker, the best smile and hugs, and positive attitude of gratitude. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 AM St Rose of Lima 2048 N Hamline Ave. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Thank you to all caregivers at Johanna Shores and Optage Hospice.
