Benson, James E. age 89, born in Mpls on Sept. 18, 1925, passed away Thurs., Feb. 26, 2015 at Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin, MN. He was our beloved "Papa Jim." He served in the Navy during WWII and was an auto mechanic for over 40 years. Preceded in death by his cherished wife of 65 years, Delores; son, Michael; granddaughter, Kristen Van Krevelen; brother, Peter and sister, Marie Spurlin. Survived by daughter, Diane (Fred) Van Krevelen; granddaughters, Dana (Wayne) Twitchell and Karla (David) Fox; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Van Krevelen, Matthew, Laura and Mitchell Fox; great-great-grand-child, Heidi Van Krevelen; many nieces & nephews.
