Quiggle, Anne Elizabeth We celebrate the life of Anne Elizabeth Quiggle, who was born in her home in 1925 and went to be with the Lord on Feb. 25, 2015 at 90 years young. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Warren Quiggle and Anna Elizabeth Peck Quiggle; her sisters, Hazelruth Gorman and Charlotte Jane Olson; and her brothers, Arthur Benajhar Quiggle and Milton Donald Quiggle. She is survived by many loved nieces and nephews who were a big part of her life. She is also survived by many great nieces & great nephews who loved her spirit for life. A special recognition goes to Susan, her husband Brian and son Asuncion, who in the last decade of Anne's life took great pride in being able to care for Aunt Anne. She will be remembered for enjoying her garden from the backyard deck, celebrating the Holidays in her home, sitting in the kitchen and having wonderful conversations, and going to concerts at Orchestra Hall. Anne attended Hamline University and obtained a nursing degree. She was a pediatric nurse in Washington, D.C. and then trained future nurses in Mpls and Chicago. After teaching in Chicago, she graduated from Moody's Bible Institute. She then came back again to Minnesota, and took care of her sick mother and worked with and helped her father at the Grain Exchange. Anne got to see the world through her travels. Her favorite places to visit were England and Ireland. Anne was very involved in the Daughters of the American Revolution and 1812 and the Woman's Club of Minneapolis, and serving the Lord in many capacities. Anne was an amazing woman who was independent, adventurous, generous and well loved by all who knew her well. She will be remembered for a very long time and will be deeply missed by her dear friends and family.
