Neve, Dorothy Ruth 93, of Edina, MN, died peacefully Monday morning, February 23 in Austin, TX where she was visiting her daughter. She suffered a stroke the previous Saturday. Her warm and loving presence will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 4201 Sheridan Ave, Minneapolis, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. John's Episcopal Church (Haiti) or Normandale Lutheran Church in Edina (Ranchi India Mission). Dorothy Ruth Sallwasser was born on July 31, 1921 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of George Sallwasser Sr. and Edna Sallwasser. She is survived by a brother, George (Jean) Sallwasser, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; four children, Grace (Rob) Gee of St. Anthony, MN, Lois Neve of Edina, MN, David (Julie) Neve of Des Moines, IA, and Mary Neve of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Sonya (Kevin) Calgren of Minneapolis, MN, Angela Neve of San Diego, CA, Luke Neve of Des Moines, IA, Emily (Joe) Mokrycki of Omaha, NE, and Robert Gee of Denver, CO; and two great-grandchildren, Clara and Henry Calgren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Grace Sallwasser, & her husband, Rev. Aster E. Neve.
