Flesland, Evelyn D. Age 96, of Roseville, died peacefully Feb. 22, 2015. Born July 8, 1918 in St. Paul. Married Albert Flesland in 1945. Attended the Pepin Academy of Fashion and graduated in 1940. Worked for Cartwright Fashion Design Co. from 1940-1946 and was a very influential fashion designer during that period. Preceded in death by husband, Albert; son, Kirk; mother, Ida Olson; father, John Olson; brother, Earl Olson. Survived by son, Bruce; grand-daughters, April Flesland and Erica (Shannon) Mohs; great-grand-children, Stella and Julian Mohs; sister, Janet (Hugh) Lampert. Memorial service 11 AM Sat., March 7 at Falcon Heights UCC, 1795 Holton St., Falcon Heights, MN 55113. Visitation 10 AM. Memorials preferred to the church or Johanna Shores Presbyterian Home.
