Donald Joseph Lucker

Lucker, Donald Joseph April 10, 1926 -January 25, 2015. Don was an amazing Renaissance man, benevolent, kind, fair, loving and most strong. A WWII Marine Vet servicing in the Pacific as a Radio-Gunner, Don was a visionary entrepreneur who turned a basement metal shop into two large manufacturing companies; Precision Sheet Metal and Aljon Tool. He was an art collector, a lover of music, a Trustee at the Minnesota Institute of Arts, and a philanthropist to Minnesota's culture. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Diana Lee; his dear children, daughters, Mary Barrett (Larry) and their children, Ben, Nate, Zach; Paulette Sproull (Steve) and their children, Stephanie and Luke; Joan Aon (Frank) and their children, Orion and Josh; sons, Matt Lucker (Michele) and their son, Donald; Dean Lucker (Ann). Also by three step-daughters and their children, Juli Schwartz (Jack) and boys, Justin and Brent; Jenni DeVille (Jard) and their children Rachel, Leah (Phil), Sarah, Miriam (Kyle), and Jard II; Jill Boddy and her girls, Cassie, Nicole, and Katie; sisters, Mary Jo Haggerty (Frank) and Peggy Grobe. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse Lucker and Josephine Mayer; brothers Bishop Raymond Lucker and Jerry Lucker and by his sister, Rosemary Kern. Services have been held.
