Larson, Phillip Alan died of natural causes on January 22, 2015 at his Lyndale Ave apartment in Minneapolis. He was born December 3, 1941 in Stewartville, MN to Glenn and Gladys (nee Gathje) Larson. He grew up in Stewartville and graduated from SHS in 1959. After marrying his first wife (divorced in 1975), they moved to Kasson, Mn (1970) and lived there until moving to the Minneapolis area in the mid 1970's, living there until his death. Phillip was preceded in death, just months earlier, by his loving wife of over 33 years, Sally Jo (Harmon). Both were active, long time members of the Creekside 500 Club in Bloomington. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and brother David. He is survived by brother John Larson of Huntington, WV; sister Marlene (David) Aakre of Kasson, MN; children, Tina Hunsucker of Zumbrota, MN and Paula Aderogba of Rochester, MN, from his previous marriage; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. From his earliest years on, Phil enjoyed gardening and the outdoors (in early days as an avid hunter and fisherman and in later days as an equally avid birdwatcher and hiker).
