Bosanko, Sarabel "Sally" (Head) Age 81, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully Jan. 25, 2015. Preceded in death by parents, Douglas P. and Ruth C. Head; and brother, Douglas M. Head. Sally was a graduate of West High, attended the University of MN and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She taught learning disabled individuals at LDA. She was an avid activist in the human rights field, serving as Chairperson of the Bloomington Human Rights Commission and was appointed by Governor Perpich to the MN Human Rights Commission. As a survivor of polio, scoliosis and breast cancer, Sally was an inspiration to many. She was active in the Republican party, philantropy and social issues and organizations such as MicroGrants. She was an enthusiastic Vikings fan and loved to read, travel, attend the Guthrie and OLLI Senior Classes and spend time with family and friends. Sally is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Michael A. Bosanko; children, Michael D. (Marge) Bosanko, Paul D. Bosanko and Margaret B. (Taylor) Werness; grandchildren, Christine, Nicholas, Brendan, Raina, Aidan, Rory, Quinn and Elise; sisters, Ruth Horner, Mary Clark and Marge Loeffler.
