Thielges, Thomas N. Age 65, of Lutz, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 following a lingering illness. Tom was born January 15, 1949 in Wayzata, MN to Joe & Agnes Thielges. He graduated from Southwest High School in Minneapolis, MN. He lived in Magnolia, TX, and Panama City Beach, FL, before moving to the Lutz, FL, area in 1986. Tom had much success in his life, including his involvement in the restaurant industry, Renaissance festivals, and Under The Sun, a clothing boutique that he and his partner co-created and managed in Land O' Lakes, FL. Tom's friends and family will miss his gift of hospitality, his hugs, brilliant mind and innovative ideas, his rambling political insights, his completely unique view on the world, and his absolutely authentic "if it works for them, who am I to judge" posture. Tom is survived by his beloved partner, Renee Christian of Lutz; his daughter, Amy (Shane) Baker, and two granddaughters, Sheridan and McKenna of Rochester, MN; his sister, JoAnn Stumpf; a brother, Paul Thielges;, and many in-laws, close friends, nieces and nephews and his cherished dog, Coco. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Joe & Agnes Thielges, and 2 sisters, Marion Caldwell and Patricia Doran.
