Peterson, Richard E. Age 74 of New Brighton, passed away Dec. 17, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Frances Peterson; sister and brother in-law, June and Vern Johnson. Survived by wife, Carol Jean; sons, Marc, Jon (Carolyn) and Steve (Jacqueline) Peterson; grandson, Nicholas, also nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Richard graduated from Mounds View High School in 1958 and he taught Physical Education in the school district for 31 years.
