Sweigert-Quam, Ruby P. "A Pretty Girl is Like a Melody" Peacefully passed away 12/13/14 at age 93. Proud 1940 graduate of North High. Tall, beautiful and athletic; Ruby could run like a deer and enjoyed many activities including modeling, bowling, and golf. Preceded in death by parents, Thure and Johanna Nelson; husbands, Bill Sweigert and Milt Quam; brothers, Carl, Ralph and Roger; sister, Eunice Augst. Survived by children, Beth Retting, Marilyn (Jim) Bethke, and Tom (Paula) Sweigert; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces and friends. Memorial service Fri. 12/19 at 2pm with visitation at 1:30pm at First Memorial Funeral Home, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd. Brooklyn Park, MN 55445. We'll miss you "Grandma Great."
