Beverly Gail (Walberg) Otto

Otto, Beverly Gail Walberg Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 1, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 21201 Church Ave., Rogers, MN for Beverly Gail Walberg Otto, age 73, of Rogers, MN, who passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 27, 2014 surrounded by her adoring family. Reverend Father Moriarty will officiate. Family and friends may call from 4-8 PM Sunday, November 30, at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, MN and at church one hour prior to Mass. Beverly was born in Richland County, Montana on August 14, 1941 to Eugene and Stella (Falkenhagen) Denowh. She was the oldest of four children. Beverly grew up on the family farm and graduated from Fairview High School in 1959. After graduation, Beverly moved to Minneapolis, MN to continue her education. It was there that she met her first husband, Duane R. Walberg. Beverly and Duane had four children and enjoyed 40 years of marriage which ended when Duane passed away in October of 2001. A few years later, Beverly was fortunate to have a second chance at love when she met Thomas P. Otto of Bloomington, MN. Beverly and Thomas were married in May of 2006. Their union created a family that was greatly blessed by 17 grandchildren who were each unique and wonderful in Beverly's eyes. Beverly will be remembered for her infectious smile, her generous heart, her love of family and friends, and her great sense of adventure that allowed her to travel to many places and experience many things. She will also be remembered for her love of baking and her gracious hospitality. Even in her final days, she made sure that all visitors were fed and felt welcome in her home. Beverly is survived by husband, Thomas; children, Roxanne (Charles) Muehlbauer of St. Cloud, MN, Michelle (Erik) Eue of Champlin, MN, Daniel (Heather) Walberg of Elk River, MN, Corey (Jennifer) Walberg of Champlin, MN; step children, Peggy (Charles) Von Hagen of Waverly, MN, Greg (Jennifer) Otto of Savage, MN, Monica (Ted) Gihl of Lakeville, MN; grandchildren Marshall and Matthew Muehlbauer, Payton and Jackson Eue, Dylan and Jacob Walberg, Miranda and Alyssa Walberg, Laura, Joe, Amy, Micah and Paul Von Hagen, Steve and Joe Otto, Matthew and Alex Gihl; mother-in-law, Adeline Otto; brothers, Lawrence (Karen), Wayne (Nancy) and David (Mary)Denowh; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many cousins, nieces and nephews; exchange student, Lupita (Charlie) Barahona; and dozens of friends from around the US and Canada.
