Rosenholtz, Dr. Mitchell J. of Columbia, Missouri passed away on November 15, 2014 after a long illness. Dr. Rosenholtz was born in St. Paul, Minn. on Dec. 18, 1930 to Al and Rae Rosenholtz. He graduated from St. Thomas Academy, Harvard University, and the University of Minnesota Medical School where he completed his residency. After service in the U.S. Army he served as the Dean of Student Affairs and pathology professor at the University of Maryland, and beginning in 1969 at the University of Missouri he was the Dean of Students and Admissions, pathology professor, and pathology practioner. Dr. Rosenholtz was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sandy, daughter Deborah, and sisters Ruthe Druck and Barbara (Bobby) Cohen. He is survived by daughter Rev. Cathy Rosenholtz (Fred Schmidt), special friend, Dr. Maria Evans, and nieces and nephews (James Druck of Pine, Colorado, Linda Druck of St. Paul, State Senator Richard Cohen of St. Paul, Cynthia Cohen of Minneapolis, and Robert Cohen of Gypsum, Colorado). Donations preferred to Congregation Beth Shalom Building Fund (Columbia, Missouri), the Mitchell J. Rosenholtz Scholarship Fund at the University of Missouri Medical School, and Common Cause. Services have been held.
