McParlan, Patrick Alan Died on November 19 at University of Minnesota Hospital as a result of com- plications from surgery. Patrick was bom in Dul-uth on October 3rd, 1964. He graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1983 and from the Minnesota School of Business, Mpls., in 1985. He worked primarily in sales. Patrick was an avid sports fan. Although he faced many physical challenges. Patrick showed determination, compassion, and cared for others. Patrick is survived by his father Edward of Maplewood, mother Nancy of Duluth, a sister Beth (Scott) Lennartson of Champlin, and a niece and nephew. A gathering of friends and family will be held in the spring in Duluth. Memorials may be made to the Damiano Center, CHUM, or Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank.
