Bohanon, Howard Edwin age 97, of Big Lake, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Nov. 15, 2014. Howard's life was full of laughs, hard work, and devotion to his family, friends & community. Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Adele (Kight) Bohanon; parents Ralph & Estella Bohanon and Swen & Harriet Kight; sisters & brothers-in-law: Vernetta & Harold Kolstad, Rita & Wayne Morgan, Arthetta & Bob Musolf, and Amre Kight. Howard is survived by his loving family - son Howard (Mary Sue) Bohanon, Jr; daughter Nancy (Tom) Berger; 8 grandchildren, Lezlie (Amy) Bohanon, Kim (Lee) Glenna, Tracy (Bob) Freitag, Troy (Meg) Wandzel, Nicole Tott-Berger, John Tott-Berger, Brooke (Greg) Moore and Brandon (Alana) Liffrig; 9 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great-grand-daughter; brother-in-law Roy Kight; sisters-in-law, Betty (Gordy) Gerling & Mary (Richard) Dagenais; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Memorial service Tuesday, Nov. 25 11:30 am, Community United Methodist Church, 9225 Jason Ave NE, Monticello with visitation 10:30 am and luncheon to follow. Interment at Mound Cemetery, Brooklyn Center. Memorials to MN Military Family Foundation.
