Schroers, Jerome age 90, of Young America.Jerome proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII, from 1943-1946 as Turret Gunner in a Torpedo bomber in the South Pacific, flying off the aircraft carrier Kasaan Bay. On November 11th, 1947, Jerome married Maxine Bowers and they had four daughters. Following 38 years of employment at FMC Corp he and Maxine retired to a hobby farm in Young America Preceded in death by his wife Maxine, infant daughter Janet and 8 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his daughters and spouses, Linda Frost and special friend Ken Roberts, Sue Ann and Michael Lindquist, Barbara and Steven Kelzer, sisters, Evelyn Schneider, Betty Schmitz, sister and brother-in law Donna and Harlon Adickes, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Memorial service is Sunday, Nov. 30th, 1:00 PM with time of fellowship to follow, all at the Chaska Moravian Church, 115 East 4th St, Chaska.
