Schutte, Sara Ann "Sally" (Hill) age 86, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI. She was born on October 12, 1928, in North East, PA, the daughter of Theodore Case and Ada Bell (Thompson) Hill. She graduated from Penn State University in 1950. Sally was united in marriage to Harry S. Schutte Jr. on December 16, 1950, in North East, PA and had 63 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2014. Sally was a teacher at Margaret Butler Nursery School, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a Fairview Southdale Hospital volunteer for many years and a longtime member of the Hillcrest United Methodist Church, Bloomington, MN. She had a competitive spirit and loved watching sports and horse racing. Sally enjoyed games of all types and was an avid bridge player, often playing several times a week. Her grandchildren have fond memories of playing the board games Upwords and Golf. She is survived by her children, Joanna Berg, Suzy (Duane) Webb, Sara (Jeff) Lerdahl and Harry III (Kris); 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and brothers-in-law, George Hill and Charles Schutte. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Harry, Sara was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Kathryn Hill, Marie Hallenburg Sessions; brothers-in-law, Jack Hallenburg, Guy Sessions and a sister-in-law, Emily Schutte. A private celebration of her life will be held by her family. Sally will be laid to rest with her husband Harry in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
