Koons, Earlene Fay (81) passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 in Glendale, AZ. Earlene resided in Peoria, AZ and was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband Melvin Koons; her mother Dora Wright; father Earl Wright; siblings Ray Wright, Irmal Wright and Roger Wright; and daughter-in-law Brenda A. Koons. Earlene is survived by her siblings Eddie Wright, JoAnn Minter, Joyce Helton and Joe Wright; sons Karl Koons, Kevin Koons and Kerry Koons; grandchildren Benjamin & wife Toni Koons and Jessica Koons. Earlene was born Earlene Fay Wright on June 20, 1933 in Gentry Arkansas and lived in Oklahoma, North Carolina, Kansas, New Mexico, Minnesota and Arizona. Earlene was a wonderful wife and mother who always put family first. She worked a number of years at Camera Art in Burnsville, MN. Earlene enjoyed travel, quilting, cooking and gardening. A private memorial was held Tuesday, Oct. 21.
