McChesney, Gerald "Jerry" Age 76, of Elk River. Born in Lynd, Minnesota, moved to Elk River in 1963 where he owned and operated a successful custom cabinetry business for 34 years. Preceded by his parents, Ruth and Mike McChesney; brother, Thomas. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Joanne (nee Polman); children, Tom (Lori), Luann (William) Ganz, Todd (Julie), and Tim (Joyann); grandchildren, Trisha, Derek (Megan), Philip & Molly, Emily (Nick), Peter, Isabel & Grace, Shelby & Madison, Easton & Evelyn, Elizabeth & Ella; great-grandchildren, Myla, Nora, Briella, and Bryce; siblings, Michael (Sandy) and Susan (Doug) Johnson; other family and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial on Mon., Nov 3 at 12:30 PM at the Catholic Church of St. Andrew, 566 - 4th St. NW, Elk River (763-441-1483) with visitation 1 hr prior to service.
