Magner, Jeanne Adele (Reck) Age 89, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 24, 2014. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, Nana and friend. Born to Alger and Adele Bodin in Minneapolis, MN on July 23, 1925. Jeanne married Werner Reck, her high school sweetheart, in 1945. They were married for 35 years until his death in 1980. In 1992, Jeanne married James Magner, who survives her. Preceded in death by infant brother Jimmy, mother Adele, father Alger, husband Werner, brother Ray and step grandson Adam Ostapenko. Survived by husband James Magner, daughters Pam (Bob) Wilcke, Peggy (Harry) Johnson, son Jim (Jane) Reck, step daughters Jeri (Marc) Arbon and Joan (Nick) Ostapenko, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th at Faith Baptist Church (4350 Russell Avenue North, Minneapolis) at 5 pm. Visitation one hour prior to service and light supper to follow. Memorials preferred to Faith Baptist Church or Village Creek Bible Camp.
