Glad, Malcolm W. age 94, of Bloomington. Malcolm was born Aug. 18, 1920 in Lancaster, MN. He was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII serving in campaigns at Guadalcanal, Guam, Bougainville and Iwo Jima. He had a career as a self-employed building contractor. He was a member of the Zuhrah Shrine. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bonnie; daughter Julie Smith; granddaughter Kaleigh (David) Scholz; great grandchildren. Timothy and Isabellah, nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by parents, Peter and Sophie Glad; and siblings, Lloyd, Palmer, Andrew, Grant, infant sister, Sara and Mildred Sjoberg. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Thursday Oct. 23 at Grace Lutheran Church, 8700 Old Cedar Ave. Interment at Fort Snelling.
