White, Ingrid Erica A service of thanksgiving celebrating Ingrid's life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 1 at Hennepin Ave United Methodist Church, 501 Groveland Ave.Formerly of Maple Grove, Ingrid passed away unexpectedly August 12 in London, England at age 37. A dual British and U. S. citizen, she had lived in London the last three years. Ingrid was a 1999 graduate of Carleton College and earned a law degree from Georgetown Law Center in Washington, DC. Fluent in French, during the course of her career she had travelled to more than 40 countries including several in Africa. She had incredible knowledge of Africa and used it to promote and support African companies to bring their products to the United States. Many of the African products being sold in the United States can be directly traced back to Ingrid's promotional efforts. She is survived by her parents, Yvette and Johnathon; brother Brian; sister-in-law Carrie and nephew Jacob; her maternal grandmother, Agnes Grant in England, several aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, England, the US and the Caribbean. Memorials preferred.
