McKenzie, Dale C. age 70, of Blaine, lost his short battle with cancer peacefully at home on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Hazel. Survived by Patricia, his loving wife of 51 years; children, Dale Jr., Christine (Ted) Neely, and Jeffrey (significant other Angela); grandchildren, Jason; Lauren, Christian, Emma, and their mother Colleen; siblings, Karen (Jerry) Hess, Larry (Diana), and Marles (Leland) Frankman. Also survived by many family and other friends. Special thanks to Jean "Pinker" Clewette, helping to provide care at home for Dale, and to Allina Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
