Merv Levin

Levin, Merv age 92 passed away peacefully in his sleep September 26, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Previously a resident of St Louis Park, MN and Delray Beach, FL. Preceded in death by his beloved wife for over 62 years, Doris Levin; daughter, Marcy Orfield; sister, Berniece Kaufman; parents, Nathan & Lena Levin. Survived by children, Nancy Golden (Marshall), Ross Levin (Briget), Michael Paul Levin (Stacey); grandchildren, Nate Berkus (Jeremiah Brent), Jesse and Marni Golden, Laura Orfield-Skrivseth (Jayson), Mimi and Vera Levin, Geordy, Ryan, Spencer and Lukas Levin; great-grandchildren, Alphonzo and Savon Williams and Milla Skrivseth. A veteran of WWII, he served with the US Army Air Force, Bomb Squadron. Shot down over Holland, he was captured and survived as a POW in Germany until freed by the Allies. In business, he was always honest with his customers and loyal to his employer for over 30 years. He will forever be remembered for his quick sense of humor, no-nonsense advice, im-peccable fashion sense, and generosity and dedication to his family. He was a true hero to all who knew him.
