Paul Wilbur Frank

Frank, Paul Wilbur October 5, 1947- September 18, 2014 Paul Wilbur Frank, the oldest of 3 children was born on October 5th 1947 in Amery Wisconsin to Harriet and Wilbur Frank. Harriet and Wilbur, now deceased, raised their children on a 2nd generation family dairy farm near Forest, Wisconsin. Paul was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Paul attended a one room school, Woodland, through his early education. In 1965 he graduated from Clear Lake High school where he was active in FFA, wrestling and football. He was a high achiever academically and athletically He graduated from Augsburg College in 1969. He enlisted in the army and served three years at Fitzsimmons General Hospital in Colorado, during the Vietnam War. He later graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Master's Degree in Social Work and Administration. Paul's career included Social Work and or Employee Assistance Counseling at Crow Wing County, Wright County, Missouri Epilepsy Foundation, Metropolitan Medical Center, HealthEast and Behavioral Health Sciences. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Grammond, his sister, Donna "nee Frank" (Glenn) Badje and their children Holly (Adam) Cunningham and Andrew (Shanna) Badje; his brother, Jonathan (Lanett) Frank and their children Anne Frank, David Frank, Daniel Frank and many relatives and friends. Paul has requested to be cremated and have his ashes scattered at his favorite fishing lake in Canada and at Estes Park in Colorado and in the small country cemetery across from the family farm. Services are planned for Sunday, September 28 at 12 PM, Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park, MN.
