Turnquist, M. Juliann age 84, of Minneapolis, passed away September 10, 2014. Born in Highland Park, Illinois, the daughter of Nels and Ellen Turnquist, Julie devoted her life to health care, Christian ministry, and the service of family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Clarence and Paul Turnquist. Survived by sister Lillian Turnquist Rossiter (the late David) and nieces and nephews Bruce Turnquist (Eve), Ruth Turnquist Mielke (Walter), Brian Turnquist (Jennifer), James Turnquist (Andrea) and Stephanie Rossiter Russell (Patrick), as well as 17 grandnieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Sept. 28, 4:00 p.m. at Excelsior Covenant Church, 19955 Excelsior Blvd, Excelsior, MN with visitation one hour prior and supper to follow. Interment at Fremont Memorial Cemetery, Fremont, NE. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Foundation (alzfdn.org) will be gratefully received.
