Falde, Martha R. age 89, of Montrose. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister & friend passed away on Sept. 16, 2014. Preceded in death by husband of 71 years, Levi (Bud); sons, Larry & Bruce; parents Evan & Josephine; 7 brothers & sisters & grandson, Brett. Survived by sons: Richard, Tim, Dean, Swede, Ron & Gary; daughters: Sandy (Kalownowski), Becky (Heimerl); sister: Josephine, 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; & 5 great-great-grandchildren; many daughter and sons-in-law; nieces & nephews. Mom enjoyed visiting with her large family often inviting the entire crew to her house in Montrose many times with more than 75 visitors for dinner. She was an active member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, volunteering her time to help our country's veterans. Visitation Friday, Sept. 19, 5-8 PM at Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted. Further visitation Saturday, Sept. 20 from 12-1 PM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Waverly. Lunch to follow at the church.
