Jost, Duane J. Age 81, formerly of Crystal, MN, born on December 31, 1932 and passed away on August 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents Joseph F. and Margaret B. Jost (Blommer) of St. Joseph, MN, first wife Marian G. Jost (Moeller), sister Mary M. (Bill) Love of Huntington Beach, CA, son Daniel J. Peterson, and grandchild Justin A. Jost. Duane was a Controller at Gould-National Batteries, Inc. and enjoyed hiking, especially in the Rocky Mountains and Arizona. Survived by his wife, Brenda E. Jost (Peterson); daughters, Connie (Scott) Salonek of Dayton, MN, Kathy Jost of Crystal, MN, Carol (Jeffrey) Feneis of Plymouth, MN, and Ruth (Scott) Stillman of Rogers, MN; son, Greg (Lori) Jost of Champlin, MN; 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. He will be forever loved and missed by his family. On Saturday, Sept. 27, there will be a visitation at 10:00 am and memorial service at 11:00 am at the Palmer Lake VFW, 2817 Brookdale Dr., Brooklyn Park, MN. Interment following memorial service at Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 42nd Ave. N., New Hope, MN. Luncheon after interment at Palmer Lake VFW.
