Johnson, Craig Thomas age 61 of Mound, formerly of Tonka Bay, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15th at his home. Born December 30th, 1952 in Minneapolis, Minne-sota to Burton and Lois Johnson, Craig was a beloved and devoted father, sibling and generous friend to many. A 1970 graduate of Minneapolis Southwest High School, Craig lived out his years in the surrounding Lake Minnetonka Area. An avid sports enthusiast, Craig loved to play golf and cheer on his Minnesota sports teams with his children at his side. Craig was also an excellent cook. Craig's humor was his greatest asset and no matter how difficult the situation, his laugh would light up any room and always bring a smile to your face. He will forever be loved and missed. Preceded in death by parents, Burt and Lois Johnson. Survived by children, Douglas, Ross & Isabel Johnson; former spouse and loving companion, Juliette Primeau; brothers and sisters, William (Anne) Johnson, Nancy (James) Burkhart, Julie (Stephen) Novotny; nieces, Susan (Troy) Wise, Lisa (Jake) Bendall, Fiona (Troy) Brendemuhl & nephew, Kyle Novotny. Funeral service Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11 AM at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 Co. Rd. 19, Excelsior (952-474-8893). Visitation Thursday 5-7 PM at Huber Funeral Home Chapel, Excelsior, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. A reception will follow the service at Minnetonka Country Club.
