Flaig, LaMoine J. age 94, born May 7, 1920 in Sanborn, MN, died Sept. 13, 2014 in Bloomington, MN. Preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (Skelton). Survived by sister, Lola Hansen; many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Sanborn High School and MN School of Business, LaMoine was employed by General Mills and SUPERVALU. He served in the Army Air Force in the European Theatre during WWII. He and his wife were avid golfers and longtime members of Mpls Golf Club and Foxfire Country Club in Naples, FL. They made several golf trips to Ireland and Scotland. They enjoyed traveling and visited all US states and most Western European countries. They also enjoyed cruises to the ports of the Baltic, Mediterranean, and Caribbean seas. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, Sept. 19, with gathering 1/2 hour prior, at Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 13505 Excelsior Blvd., Minnetonka. Private interment Fort Snelling.
