Pladson, Stanford B. Age 72, of Champlin, MN, Aug 26th. Preceded in death by parents, Helen & Stan and granddaughter, Carla. Stan was an all around great guy! Loved by all who were lucky enough to meet him for his great sense of humor, kind heart and willingness to lend a hand. He loved sports cars and drove Corvettes all his life, his last a yellow Z-06. It was said about Stan his 3 C's were Cat, Corvette & Claudia. His thirst for knowledge was unending and so is his book collection. Survived by life partner, Claudia Essig and family. Children, Troy (Reyna), Stanford, Summer (Aaron). Brother Craig (Char), sisters Faith (Duane), Darlene (Herb) & special Daughter-in-law Katie. Wonderful grandchildren, loving nieces & nephews and many, many friends. Friend of Bill W for 33 years. Funeral services will be held at Cremation Society of Minnesota - Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave. S. Visitation Monday, Sept. 1st, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and 1/2 hour before service. Funeral Service Tuesday, Sept. 2nd, 10:30 AM. Interment Fort Snelling.
